Guidelines

Originality of Manuscripts:

Submitted manuscripts must be original. While YRR accepts manuscripts that have been published on other platforms, if a manuscript is published or under consideration for publication elsewhere, the author is responsible for complying with that platform's regulations regarding publication on multiple platforms.

Permission for Previously Published Content:

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any previously published illustrations or tables (if applicable). Written permission must be emailed along with the manuscript.

Open Access Policy:

YRR is an open-access journal, as defined by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). This means that the journal provides immediate, free access to the full text of all published articles. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, or use the articles for any lawful purpose. All works are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

Copyright Policy:

All authors retain the copyright of their work. By submitting to YRR, authors agree to the terms of the Creative Commons license, allowing for free use of their work under the specified conditions.

Plagiarism Policy:

By submitting their manuscript, authors confirm that all text, data, figures, and ideas are original or have been properly cited. Manuscripts containing any content that the author did not create, or work that has been previously published (unless appropriately cited or permission to reproduce has been obtained), will not be accepted. Manuscripts that violate the plagiarism policy will be rejected and may result in a ban from future submissions. If a published article is found to have violated the plagiarism policy, it will be retracted.

AI Policy:

By submitting a manuscript to YRR, authors confirm that all content, including text, data, and ideas, is their original work or properly cited. Authors must disclose if any AI tools were used in generating or assisting with the manuscript. If AI tools were used, authors must specify the role of the AI in the research and writing process and ensure that all contributions from AI are properly acknowledged. Manuscripts that fail to provide this disclosure or that rely heavily on AI without appropriate attribution may be rejected.

Ethics and Human Subjects:

Research involving human subjects must comply with ethical standards. A statement from the author’s institution or supervisor confirming compliance with these standards is required. If the institution has a research ethics board, the statement should come from them. If not, a statement from the supervising faculty member is acceptable. Any information identifying human subjects must remain anonymous unless explicit written consent has been obtained from the individuals involved. Informed consent must be provided, and in the case of online surveys, it should be included in the survey itself. Proof of consent must be submitted to YRR if requested.

Retraction Policy:

Any article found to violate any of our policies will be retracted.
